Shenzhen, China — The 18th China International Battery Fair (CIBF2026) was successfully held from May 13–15, 2026 at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao’an). With the theme of “Link the Globe, Empower Green, Drive the Future”, CIBF is a benchmark event for the global battery industry. Covering 280,000 square meters, the exhibition brought together nearly 3,200 global enterprises across the battery industrial chain, attracting more than 400,000 professional visitors in three days. CIBF2026 covers the full battery value chain: cathode & anode materials, separators and electrolyte in upstream; battery cells, PACK assembly, BMS, lithium battery manufacturing and testing equipment in midstream; power batteries, energy storage systems, solid-state & sodium-ion batteries, second-life battery and recycling solutions in downstream. A dedicated Light-Duty Power Zone showcased power cells for electric motorcycles, standardized swappable battery modules, smart BMS and thermal management systems. Multiple modular smart battery swap cabinets were also displayed, supporting multi-voltage batteries with multi-layer safety protection for overseas two-wheeler battery swap operations.
More than ten high-level industry summits were held alongside the exhibition. Topics covered light EV battery safety standards, battery carbon footprint, battery passport, export compliance, second-life battery applications in swap cabinets and market opportunities in Southeast Asia. These forums helped overseas companies understand battery regulations and certification requirements in markets such as Indonesia, enabling battery swap operators and e-motorcycle brands to mitigate supply chain and export risks.
